The Framingham Justice Center is a new multi-court facility on the site of the former Danforth Museum. Designed to accommodate up to ten courtrooms, the building serves the District, Probate and Family, Juvenile, and Housing Courts.

The facility includes a full range of support spaces such as mediation rooms, jury assembly and deliberation areas, attorney-client meeting rooms, office space for staff and clinicians, and a Court Service Center. It is organized around secure and separate circulation paths for judges, staff, the public, and detainees, including a sallyport.

The project incorporates high-performance HVAC and envelope systems to reduce energy use and operating costs. The site scope includes the demolition of the existing museum building and additions.

The intention of this project is to produce a Massachusetts LEED Plus certifiable facility.
