After more than 15 years of planning, coordination, and phased redevelopment, the transformation of Old Colony is complete!
The final ribbon cutting for The Anne M. Lynch Homes at Old Colony marked the completion of 887 affordable homes across six phases and the culmination of a long-term effort to redevelop one of Boston’s oldest public housing communities. Throughout the event, residents shared what this investment has meant to their families, their neighbors, and the future of the community they call home.
We’re proud to have contributed to this historic effort and congratulate the many partners, tradespeople, and residents who helped make it possible. Having recently completed Phase 6, it was especially rewarding to see the full vision for Old Colony realized and celebrated by the community.

Last week, we joined the Worcester Housing Authority, project partners, elected officials, and community members to celebrate the ribbon cutting of Phase 1 of Curtis Apartments and the unveiling of its new name, The Phoenix at Curtis.
Nearly 75 years after the original Curtis Apartments were built, this milestone represents a significant investment in the future of affordable housing in Worcester. Phase 1 has delivered 129 new affordable homes, with additional phases already underway as the broader redevelopment continues.
Congratulations to everyone who contributed to this achievement. We look forward to continuing our work alongside our partners as The Phoenix at Curtis moves forward.

We officially broke ground on the new Westhill High School in Stamford, CT!
Expected to be the largest school construction project in Connecticut history, the new 450,000-square-foot facility will provide a modern learning environment designed to support more than 2,400 students. The new school will feature updated academic spaces, career pathway programs, athletic facilities, and performing arts spaces while allowing the existing school to remain operational throughout construction.
The groundbreaking brought together city leaders, school officials, project partners, and Roxbury Elementary School student ambassadors, who will be among the first students to attend the new school when it opens in 2029.
We are proud to be part of the team bringing this vision to life and look forward to seeing the project take shape in the years ahead.

We officially welcomed our 2026 Dimeo interns last Friday at our annual Intern Kickoff Meeting! This year sets a new record with 37 Interns joining the team, including 5 returning to begin their second internships with us.
Gathered at our corporate headquarters in RI, the group heard from Dimeo`s leadership and team members about our company culture and values, expectations for the summer, and advice. They were also greeted by their ambassadors, who will serve as mentors to guide and support our incoming interns throughout their time here at Dimeo.
We would like to thank Doug Peckham and Nicole Anacleto for their dedication and hard work that continue to make this program successful. We are thrilled to have these incredible individuals on the team and wish them the best of luck this summer!

During Mental Health Awareness Month, we joined industry leaders in New Haven, Connecticut, to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), developed with peers and building trade partners to create guidelines for wellness in the construction industry.
Construction can be physically and mentally demanding, often requiring long hours and time away from home. By creating and signing this MOU, we aim to increase support systems, encourage open conversations, and reduce the stigma around mental health and substance use.
Thank you to everyone who was part of this day and for all your effort in making this MOU signing a reality. We were proud to stand with you.

Industry professionals from across disciplines came together last week for the inaugural Built to Lead 2026 Women’s Summit. 👷🏼♀️👩🏽💼
What began as an idea led by Dimeo’s own JoEllen Villari grew into a sold-out event that brought together more than 200 professionals committed to honest, authentic conversations. Presenters and attendees spoke openly about the challenges of being a woman in the industry, shared their personal experiences, and offered tangible advice to one another.
Throughout the day, conversations highlighted owning your confidence, saying yes to the opportunities that are right for you even when intimidated, and getting involved in the industry in meaningful ways that help you continue to develop and lead. There was a special emphasis on mentorship and a collective call to not only drive personal growth and leadership, but also to reach back and guide the next generation toward similar success.
Congratulations to JoEllen and everyone involved in bringing such an impactful event to life.

Today we celebrated the Topping Off of the new Pilgrim High School in Warwick, RI! The city`s strong sense of community was on full display as community leaders, project partners, students, faculty, and alumni joined together to celebrate this milestone. The energy throughout the ceremony made it clear just how much pride and excitement surrounds this project.
Stated best by School Committee Chairman Shaun Galligan, "Communities are built around schools. Schools are where memories are made, where futures begin, and where generations come together. Today we move one step close, one beam closer, to leaving this community better than we found it."

Congratulations to the Providence College MBA691 Class of 2026 on their recent commencement! 🎓
To conclude their MBA program, graduate student teams presented innovative business models to Dimeo leadership following months of research, collaboration, and analysis. The three teams focused on Estimation and Analytics, Strategic Apprenticeship Benefits, and a Labor + Cost Risk Framework, delivering thoughtful presentations backed by impressive insight and dedication.
Selecting a winner from three outstanding teams was no easy task, and we were incredibly impressed by the professionalism and effort each group brought to the experience.
Thank you to the students and faculty for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful collaboration, with special thanks to Senior Associate Dean Joe Gemma, Director of Corporate Engagement John Smith, and Associate Professor of Finance David Cortes for coordinating the effort. Always a pleasure working with the Providence College community!

Yesterday, we attended the grand opening of Ocean State Labs, powered by Portal Innovations. As Rhode Island`s first dedicated life science incubator, it will support up to 30 startups, strengthen Rhode Island`s long-term life science capacity, and drive job growth.
As Founder and CEO of Portal Innovations, John Flavin said, "The beauty of what we can do here in Providence is you can start here, you can scale here, you can build here." That vision is already taking shape. MindImmune Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company focused on neuroinflammation and Alzheimer`s disease, is among the inaugural cohorts. "We`re focused on solving problems that matter, extending human life, and making life better for people." — Isaac Stoner, CEO.
We are grateful for the opportunity to add another life-changing build to Providence, RI.

We have officially broken ground on the future Framingham Regional Justice Center, a modern multi-court facility set to rise on the site of the former Danforth Museum. The facility is designed to serve the city’s District, Probate and Family, Juvenile, and Housing Courts.
The development of this new, welcoming, and accessible justice center has been years in the making, and the excitement to commence construction was evident in the speeches and the energy expressed. Said best by Senate President Karen E. Spilka, "This 116,000 sf facility will bring together services that have been spread across multiple communities and buildings for far too long."
The building will include up to ten courtrooms and support spaces such as jury areas, mediation rooms, attorney-client meeting rooms, staff offices, and a Court Service Center, all organized with separate circulation paths to ensure safety and efficiency.
In a meaningful nod to the site’s history, pieces of the Danforth Museum will be preserved and incorporated into the new building design, "honoring the legacy of the site and its long history as a place of learning, culture, and community" while creating a building that will serve Framingham for generations.

Safety Week 2026 brought our teams across New England together to pause, reflect, and reinforce how safety shows up in the way we plan, work, and look out for each other every day.
🦺 In Massachusetts, Senior Site Safety Manager JoEllen Villari coordinated a sitewide stand down, where Gary Garafano with the New England Laborers Health and Safety Fund (NELHSF), alongside representatives from Waltham Laborers Local 560, spoke with the team at Brandeis University about mental health, wellness resources, and the importance of supporting one another both on and off the jobsite.
👷🏼♂️ In Rhode Island, Site Safety Engineer Hannah Loftes led a toolbox talk on safe work practices, where the team came together to recognize the importance of safety not only during Safety Week, but every day. Later at our RI headquarters, Site Safety Manager Bruno Longhi and Corporate Safety Director Bob Kunz coordinated an Active Fall Arrest Demonstration using a specialized trailer to reinforce fall protection awareness and best practices.
🚧 In Connecticut, Senior Site Safety Manager Justin Griffith held a project stand down and distributed Safety Week t-shirts to project teams in recognition of the shared responsibility we all have in creating safe jobsites.
Thank you to our Safety team and project teams across all of our jobsites for the work you do every day to protect one another and build a culture where everyone goes home safely.

Safety Week reminds us of what drives our work each day: protecting our people and building a culture where everyone gets home safely.
This year’s theme, "All in Together: Recognize. Respond. Respect.", highlights the importance of staying engaged, communicating clearly, and looking out for one another across every jobsite, especially with high energy, high hazard work.
We`re grateful for our incredible Safety team at Dimeo, who carry this responsibility forward day in and day out, supporting our projects and helping ensure safety remains at the center of everything we do.
Thank you for the work you do to keep our teams safe.
