This multi-phased project consisted of the demolition and conversion of existing mall space, followed by construction of a new mall addition.
This phase included the demolition of the interior first and second floors of the former Macy’s space, construction of new vertical access/egress elements (a total of 6 escalators and 2 passenger elevators) to access the second level tenants, construction of a new loading area and enclosed stock receiving and staging area, and the addition of an exterior storefront entrance. New tenants include Target and Sports Authority.
In addition to this project, we conducted mall-wide repairs due to the major flooding that occurred in the spring of 2010. In all, Dimeo has teamed with the Warwick Mall management on multiple projects over the past 20 years.
