Tidewater Stadium is a new 10,500-seat stadium that will be owned by and will serve as the home field facility for a United Soccer League (USL) Championship expansion team, the Rhode Island Football Club (RIFC).
The stadium includes multiple food and beverage facilities, public restrooms, retail areas, locker rooms and office facilities, synthetic turf all-weather field, and athletic field lighting systems. The stadium was constructed on land owned by National Grid, which National Grid is currently remediating. The stadium is expected to open for the 2025 Spring Season.
