Dimeo Construction

Originally constructed in the early 1900's, this 400,000 sf historic mill building was restored and converted into an imaginative corporate headquarters for one of the world's largest toy manufacturers. The multi-phased renovation commenced in 1986 and was completed in 1995. The project required a complete gutting and retrofitting of the building while remaining occupied throughout the work. The object of this renovation project was to maintain the character of the old mill structure while creating new modern office space. This project involved detailed coordination of the new electrical, mechanical and structural systems while accommodating ongoing client operation needs and ongoing renovation work.
